Providence students participate in this annual service weekend organized by Southern California Reformed Fellowship.  Students work with Rev. Crum in Tijuana, Baja, Mexico.

All College Retreat

Air & Space
On this trip the Providence students will be exploring flight through two different venues.  The first is the “Planes of Fame” exhibit at the Chino Airport.  This museum looks at the history of flight from the Wright brothers to modern aviation.  The second stop will be at Pasadena’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) to learn about modern space exploration.  JPL works closely with NASA and is currently monitoring the Hubble satellite and the Mars rovers.

Dead Sea Scrolls
Providence students will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to see this traveling exhibit.  The only California stop is in San Diego.  This exhibit not only has the Dead Sea Scrolls on display but also has a number of artifacts and information about biblical times and cultures.

Wicked Musical
The final 4-W experience of the semester takes the students into downtown Los Angeles to see the widely acclaimed musical Wicked.  This is the prequel story of the two witches in the Wizard of Oz.  If you know the story of Dorothy and her travels to Oz, you have to see how it all began.
